The transfer comes as Democrats attempt to paint the California financial institution proprietor as an out-of-touch multimillionaire. Hovde has recommended he’ll spend as a lot as $20 million of his personal cash within the race to defeat Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin.
