EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — Officers introduced Friday that El Paso Police arrested 33-year-old Ysleta ISD worker Rayan Anthony Avalos for his alleged relationship with an 18-year-old pupil.
Investigators allege Avalos, who works at an unnamed YISD faculty, in keeping with El Paso Police, began the connection with {the teenager} in November 2023.
College officers contacted an EPPD College Useful resource officer to report the alleged crime. The EPPD Crimes Towards Kids unit then began investigating.
Avalos is charged with improper relationship between educator and pupil. ABC-7 is working to study extra about which faculty he labored at and what place he held with the district.
Officers booked Avalos into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $100,000 bond.
